Job Description

Brafe Engineering Limited are an employee-owned company and we are a world leading UK manufacturer of high specification alloy castings supporting global customers with an end-to end single service solution.

Duties

• Metallurgical testing.
• Test bar failure recovery – Working with metallurgist team for actions
• Foundry melt release and charge correction
• Supporting in arranging 3^rd party Witnessing Co ordination
• Annual calibration and servicing of laboratory equipment
• Software development on systems to monitor testing and sub-contract
• Managing material bookings.
• Become conversant with software and systems on timelines and testing
• Chemical analysis
• PMI Trained
• Support Incoming material control
• Material failure recovery

Charge correction Skills & Experience.

• Practical laboratory experience
• An awareness of Health and Safety issues in a working environment
• Science background – A level upwards

• Good working knowledge of manufacturing, Word and Excel Good numeracy and literacy are essential skills.

Candidates need to be well motivated, good team players with good communication skills and problem-solving skills.

An excellent salary is on offer £14-£17 depending on experience. You will work 37 hours a week. Holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays. Great benefits are on offer including: a highly competitive pension and life cover.
